The story of The Oasis is rich and inspiring—from Beau Theriot’s original vision, to its rise in fame as a Texas icon, through the devastating fire of 2005, and ultimately its remarkable rebirth into the vibrant destination we enjoy today.
Over the years, The Oasis has also built traditions that make it truly unique. Guests love the sunset tradition marked by the ringing of the Sunset Bell, the annual Oasis Sunset Photo Contest, and our moving Honoring Our Heroes memorial plaques. The Oasis is also home to unforgettable experiences: intimate private event spaces, romantic wedding venues, and two lively stages for music and dancing—Beau’s Backyard and the Starlight Terrace.
And of course, no visit would be complete without taking part in one of our most beloved traditions: Lover’s Locks. Whether with a partner, friends, or family, guests can purchase a lock from the Oasis Gift Shop and secure it to our deck railings as a lasting symbol of the memories created here.
